whoa...

so i was going to do something in my tittle about that nursery rhyme "mary mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow? with silver bells and cockle shells and pretty maids all in a row." so i googled it just to double check that i had it right... and this was the first link that popped up [click here]. go look at it. or dont. its gross. and i had no idea! sheesh.

anyway. here goes my newest garden post! :)

all of my plants [except my poor cucumbers] are doing really well! my zucchini are just about the cutest things ever! i have about a dozen or so zucchini plants. according to my dad, all you really need is 1 [maybe, maybe 2] zucchini plants to have more zucchini than you even know what to do with. so either i have to throw the extra away, or give them away... i would much rather give them away so somebody else can have delicious zucchini this summer! [so if you want a zucchini plant, lemme know! :) haha...]

First of all, OH MY GOSH! Who knew nursery rhymes came from such horrific origins. Geez.

Second, I WANT SOME!!! Several in fact! I was 2 maybe 3 zucchini. I've been dying to make bread! I really it will be a while before they produce, but still! Can I have a pumpkin too? And is a sunflower asking too much?? ;) Maybe we should just go to Mesquite Valley and you should pick out stuff for me. You are seriously sparking my interest in growing food!!!

Since I am soooo much older than you... I knew about the nursery rhyme. There are other children stories or rhymes with dark origins. I will take 1 zucchini for bread, but you have to bring it to me. LOL. Good Luck with your little cucumbers, hope they make it.
