dustin, adrian & hayley came up this afternoon [mom is helping them with their taxes]. but before that... adrian and dustin worked in the backyard and finished the retaining wall. dad doesnt know yet, so it will totally be a surprise for him... were so excited to show him! this project is super exciting for us!! the next step is to add the water lines and then add the back-fill. then we can add fertilizer and sod and plants! how exciting is this?! it sure is coming along!

this is the wall so far. and sorry this picture is so ghetto.... i didnt really want to take a long time on it, so i just put these together real fast. hahah...

i love it! that is so sweet of y'all to surprise dad! i'm sure he'll love it! it looks soooooo good :)
I sure hope he was surprised! It actually wasn't too bad. (Although yesterday was hot.) Let's finish up this yard before it gets even hotter!
