so... i planted roses right? well... they are fantastic. they are all blooming... we've had roses on our kitchen table this past week. i think that's my favorite part, fresh flowers every day!! they make me happy. i still want them to grow into ha-uge rose bushes...
ps.... my favorite are the yellow roses :)

i found a dead butterfly when i was playing with chowder one day last week... it had some beautiful wings.

chowder is such a funny little puppy. he loves to run & play in the grass... and he's learned how to climb up the wall. it's pretty silly looking... and it takes quite a bit of effort. we still are planning to put steps in, but for now he's found a way to enjoy the grass.
