ive always wanted to grow sea-monkeys... in fact it is on my to do list on my blog, haha. for my birthday, nicole gave me my own sea-monkey kit... and i cannot tell you how very fascinating these little things are!

you have to let the water sit out till its room temperature, then you add packet 1 which was the water balancer... then you wait another day then you add packet 2... which is the "instant-life crystals" and then almost immediately you have these crazy little specks swimming all over the place... you wait till day 5 to feed them and once you do that, these little boogers [which are actually a hybrid species of brine shrimp] start growing like crazy! then you feed them a little bit of the contents of packet 3 every couple days... its so easy and so stinking fun! :) oh and apparently they can grow up to 3/4" long... and can live for 2 years! holy poop, right? hahaha...

i seriously love these things... they are so pooping funny!
