{the greatest dad}

so last night i slept with my window open [my room was feeling stuffy]. well, i woke up a little before 4 am and i swear it to you i heard a man outside... i must have woken up from a really scary, weird dream... but for some reason it seriously... like hard core, for reals... creeped me out. i got up... i didnt see anyone out there... so shut my window and climbed back in bed and tried to calm myself down... then at like 4:30... i saw a light outside... i looked outside and there was a car... like a volvo wagon thing... and they slowed way down in front of our house... then turned around in the cul-de-sac.... and stopped and was shining their lights directly at our house... needless to say, i was freaking out... they started to drive away, but then stopped in between us and our neighbor's... someone got out a and i way freaked out... i went and got my dad... and he [being the awesome and patient dad he is] got up, i thought he grabbed a gun...but it was just a flashlight... hahah.... and went outside. i cant even explain to you how bad i was shaking. i dont usually freak out like this, i swear!! he came back in... with the newspaper...and said he didnt see anyone else out there. it was probably just the newspaper man... and maybe the voice was some creeper walking his dog in the wee hours of the morning. my dad gave me a hug a sent me back to bed. haha... so basically, im a spaz who totally freaked out over the newspaper man. but why did he have to get out of his car like that? and why in the world did i freak out? i suppose ill never know... but i sure felt silly afterwards... and a little bad for waking my dad up, but he sure is the greatest... and i love him!
