fun with the richardsons!

so last tuesday (sorry its been so long!! lol...) i had the amazing opportunity to yuba lake with all of the richardsons!! all of them! and oh my goodness...it was such a fun day! and such beautiful weather! (a little storm blew in for an hour-ish...and it sprinkled on us a bit....but for the most part it just missed us) so we spent the whole day on the lake in this amazing boat... i think it was uncle dan's brother. there was some wake boarding, knee boarding and skiing going on... and naturally there was also tubing! :) the boys blew up 3 tubes- so me and aunt nancy and laurel got on them first... it was really pooping funny... nancy got on first, and totally fell off (trying to get on), then laurel got on with no problems... and then i got on, but there was this huge bubble thing in the middle...and i totally flipped over too... haha... i seriously couldn't stop laughing!! and then we were trying to get the 3 tubes untangled and laurel fell off! haha... just chilling... oh man... i'm laughing again just thinking about it! ... seriously! it was so funny! and that was fun ride... i stayed on the longest... yeah baby! so i got to ride with erik and craig too... i thought i was going to die... but no worries! i didn't... lol. then the three boys got on and it was fun just to sit there and watch them! it really was such a fun lake day! :)

friday... i got together with the richardsons again and they took me to the timpanogos caves. overall it was an amazingly cool trip. id been told its kinda a hike to get up there... but holy freaking cow... it was a beast... it was seriously switchbacks the whole way. it was fun though... laurel and i walked together for a lot of it... and you know while we were walking up people were coming back down the same trail... and i swear... every single person was smiling... and it kinda pissed me off! i was seriously about to push someone down the (very steep) side of the mountain... honestly. it was a really high mountain... and we serioulsy stopped quite a bit... but people just kept on smiling... eventually we (all of us... aunt nancy too... high five!!) got to the mouth of caves and did our little tour. it was really fun! i really like visiting caves! oh... heres my "what i learned moment" did you know that if you spent 3 days in complete darkness (like in a cave) your pupils would dilate so much that they would literally get stuck open... and the moment that your eyes reached light you would instantly go blind. interesting... don't you think? okay so after our tour we started walking back down the hill... and i quite literally had a hard time not smiling... and then i had an apostrophe "i think you mean an epiphany" (name the movie!!) and realized that all those smiles id seen while i was huffing and puffing up the mountain weren't mocking smiles! they were encouraging "i know what you're going through" smiles... and then i smiled more... haha. i'm a jerk. lol... oh well. after the caves we drove back to payson and went to the annual "salmon supper" and oh my goodness, it was amazing! i'm not that big of a fan of salmon... but this was the best salmon i have ever had!! for serious! i was eating it and just kept think about how much mom and adrian would have loved it! it was really yummy! then we went back to jason and laurels (they were gonna get me a birthday cheesecake on the way back but we ran out of time) so they sang to me and i blew out a lighter... haha... but i did make a wish, that's all that matters right? right! (oh i don't have those pictures... you will have to ask erik if you wanna see) and then i said goodbye.... gave some hugs then erik drove me home. and that was the end of another stinking fun day!
