happy fall y'all...

it's officially fall and we are still in the triple digit heat... everybody is complaining, but i love it! i figured it was time to start changing the decor so while mom was gone one morning i whipped out some stored up ideas [thanks to blogs & woman's day magazine. haha] aaand.... tada....

 the sign is from paula... she's so fansastically crafty! 

[this is an interchangeable sign... it has one for halloween, christmas, spring & the 4th of july!]

i made this hurricane lamp [and the little votive thing in front of it] with dollar store stuff. [i blog stalk a few diy crafty blogs... and i think this is the one where i found that idea ...http://dollarstorecrafts.com/...] anyway, its just a candlestick and then a vase... i just super glued it together! a $2 hurricane lamp.... i love it!

and the candycorn tree... sigh. so easy & so simply. i love it...
