so... yesterday, while i was cleaning moms house [and let's be honest, what else do i really do anymore? lol....] there was a knock on the front door. i had no idea who it could be [and i was still in my pajama's... after spending the afternoon dealing with the turtle sitch] and i opened the door to find a very excited little brother of mine toting our new recycle bin. our old one really was all types of beat up and cracking so apparently the parents called the waste management people and they traded out our old bin for this new mini trashcan looking thing... its terribly cute, and tino really was all types of excited! it was funny to see him so happy about a new recycle container. hahaha...

the newest addition to our trash receptacle family...

im not quite sure why this picture makes me laugh so hard.... maybe because it looks so dorky shoved in between our two giant trash cans- but regardless... its so stinking funny! :)
[oh.... and just in case you were confused, our trash cans are tied up so that the javelinas cant knock them over and get into our trash. lol...]

"Stinking" being the correct word to use regarding our trash receptables (especially this time of year when it is hot and trash stink worse than usual).
FYI: Our recycles get picked up the same day as our regular trash. Evidently last week, they set the big container down on top of the recycle bin splitting it down the side. (It was definitely worn and chipped as well). Hence the phone call allowing us to get a new recycle bin. Because, you know us Farrs, we are incredibly green!
stinks
Did you see that I left you a comment on this post on facebook? How do you link your posts to facebook? That's so cool!
Anyway... the new recycle bin is very cute. Although, i don't know why they don't give you a regular size trash can. Our recycle bin is just as big as our normal trash. Maybe we're more GREEN than you! (or BLUE...that's the color of our can)! Yep...I'm a dork! ;)
i love it! that last picture made me laugh pretty hard too for some reason but i can't quite figure it out! thanks for the post! i loved it! :)
