{a new project...}

so me and danielle bought these lamps when we were living together in thatcher... years and years ago... mine was green and hers was red. they are pretty cute... and when she got married she gave hers to me.

they are pretty college-y looking and i was debating whether or not i was going to d.i. them before i left. and then last week one night [as sleep was evading me] inspiration came to me! and this is the result...

i bought rit dye, dyed one purple and one black... and then added little beads. (total cost: $6)

too cute right?

oh i should explain... im getting really excited to get an apartment... and ive decided to do my bedroom in black, white and purple.... get a white comforter, purple throw, black and purple pillows... put my zebra rug down and just make it look oh so cute!

and these will just be a fun little addition...

anyway. im really happy with the way they turned out! :)

oh and panini was being a little punk while i was trying to take pictures... so heres some more of her too...



she sure is cute when shes asleep... not so much when she is biting your toes or pooping on the carpet... lol. oh the joys of having a puppy...
