tlc!

so today was my last day at triumphant learning center (tlc) ...my last official day as an art teacher :( ...tlc is the charter school in safford where i have been teaching art for the last semester. this semester has gone by so fast... and i have absolutely loved my time teaching and getting to know all the wonderful students... even though there were a few little punks- lol! so yeah i am going to miss teaching... i dont know how well i have done, but the kids all say that they are going to miss me! i got hugs from a lot of little kids!! and a bunch of them made me presents... ive gotten a couple crowns, a few paper rings, some necklaces... many pictures and drawings! :) they are so cute!

i think i am going to miss being called "ms. farr"! who would have thought? lol! i have to tell you, i have absolutely loved it when my kids from school see me in walmart and get so excited and wave to me and say "hello ms. farr!" or sometimes "mrs. farr" (haha that one still makes me laugh) and then after i walk by i hear "that's my art teacher!" oh man... good times.

anyway... the mascot for tlc is a white tiger. when i was younger i was obsessed with white tigers (crazy little coincidenc i know!) and one year for christmas i got this huge stuffed animal of a white tiger! it is the coolest stuffed animal that i have ever received in my life! i love that thing! (actually i named in shercon... like from the jungle book! hehe) anyway... i decided to donate my favorite white tiger to my favorite white tigers!! ...they put it in the library... and all the kids were thoroughly excited for it! :) it was just a stuffed animal but i felt like i had given something back to them... or left a piece of myself with them, and i smile now thinking that it is there with them! :)
